Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Online Video Editor, maintained by FaiChou, handles information when you use the website. Editing media locally and loading website resources involve different data flows, described below.
1. Videos, audio and images
The videos, local audio files and images you select are read and processed in your browser. The editor does not upload these files, their filenames or exported results to a server, use remote transcoding, or send video processing telemetry.
Selected media, previews, editing settings and results are held in the current page session. Leaving the editor, refreshing or closing the page clears that session. Files you download remain wherever you save them on your device.
2. Browser storage and offline resources
The website uses localStorage to remember your manual language preference and text watermark favorites, including preset names, watermark text and style settings. These stay in this browser and are not synchronized to an account. Logo images, music files and other media editing settings are not saved as favorites.
For offline use, the browser caches application pages, scripts, styles, icons and built-in stickers. Custom fonts are served by this website and cached after they are loaded. Source media and exported results are not included in the offline cache. You can delete favorites in the editor or remove preferences and cached resources by clearing this website’s site data in your browser.
The editor does not include third-party analytics or advertising scripts and does not set advertising or tracking cookies.
3. Hosting and online music requests
The website is hosted on Vercel. Loading pages and application resources sends ordinary web requests to the hosting service. Vercel may process request information such as your IP address, browser information, requested URL and request time to deliver and secure the service. This does not upload your editing media.
Entering the Add music editor settings requests a catalog from music.freeonlinevideoeditor.app, even if you do not open the library or choose local audio. Listening to or selecting an online track requests audio from music-cdn.clipflowapp.com. These services receive ordinary connection and request information, such as your IP address and the requested resource. Your selected videos and local audio files are not sent with these requests. Local audio processing does not depend on the catalog and can work offline after the website resources have been cached.
4. Feedback emails
The feedback form opens your email client only when you choose to create an email. It does not send a message automatically or attach your media, filenames or editing data. You decide whether to send the draft.
If you send us an email, we receive your email address, message and anything you choose to include. We use this information to review and respond to your request. Email providers also process the message under their own policies. Contact us if you would like your correspondence deleted, subject to any applicable recordkeeping obligations.
5. External links and your choices
Following a link to ClipFlow or another external website makes a request to that website, where its own privacy policy applies. ClipFlow recommendation links contain fixed source tags identifying this website; they do not contain your media or editing data.
You can stop processing, leave the editor, clear browser site data or choose local audio instead of downloading a track. Clearing site data removes saved preferences, watermark favorites and offline resources; it does not delete files you have downloaded.
6. Updates and privacy questions
We will publish updates to this policy here and change the date above. For questions about this policy or requests concerning information you have sent us, use the contact address below. Any applicable privacy rights remain available to you.
