Common questions

Does cropping change the duration or audio?

Cropping keeps the selected frame area and re-encodes the video without changing the time range. Original audio tracks are preserved; an error is shown if all tracks cannot be kept. Output dimensions are rounded to even pixels for encoding.

How does cropping work for videos of different sizes?

The same relative position and size apply to every video. For example, selecting the left half keeps the left half of each file; different source dimensions produce different output dimensions. Switch the preview to check each file.

Are my videos uploaded?

No. Videos are processed in your browser without registration. Reloading or closing the page clears your current files and results.

Which formats and file sizes are supported?

Supported containers include MP4, MOV and WebM; codec support depends on your browser. The limit is 500 MiB per file and 1 GiB of source files per batch. Process large files in smaller batches.
