Common questions
Can I turn off subtitles after export?
Subtitles are burned into the picture using your chosen style and become part of the video, so they cannot be turned off after export. Processing re-encodes the video and preserves original audio.
Are automatic captions, TXT or ASS effects supported?
Speech recognition and TXT are not supported. SRT, VTT and ASS import only text, line breaks and timing, without original fonts, positioning, layout, drawings or animation. Subtitle files can be up to 5 MiB; UTF-8 is recommended.
Can I add subtitles in a batch?
This tool processes one video at a time. Download the result and remove the current video before adding another with its own subtitles. Both files are processed in your browser.
Are my videos uploaded?
No. Videos are processed in your browser without registration. Reloading or closing the page clears your current files and results.
Which formats and file sizes are supported?
Video files can be up to 500 MiB. Readable containers include MP4, MOV, WebM and MKV. Burning subtitles requires decoding and encoding support. Export reports an error if audio cannot be preserved.
